Check the arrival time, luggage and final station exit
Allow for immigration and baggage claim. Do not plan around a train or bus you may not reach.
Use your actual hotel entrance. “Shinjuku” can still leave a long underground connection or street walk.
Count every transfer with luggage. The official airport guide lists about 50 minutes to Shinjuku by rail, but your complete trip can take longer.
